It's a fairly simple muscle increase if I do say so myself. I'm sure this would be different from individual to individual. Take my brother for example. He began pumping iron over 20 years ago. He was determined to bench 300 pounds. After a few years of going at it, he achieved his target muscle increase and is now able to bench the 300. This is great! That's how it should be for everyone. You simply have to stick to your guns. Quitting will get you absolutely nowhere.
